Growing up in the protection and isolation of her Cherokee village, Morning Dew’s world is turned upside down when her parents announce that they will be moving.

Fear and resentment continue to arise as it seems that her parents start changing everything that has been familiar to Morning Dew.  Even her name is changed.

Meeting her cousin for the first time, she finds that the friend she was hoping for wants nothing to do with her.  And what about the bullies at school?  Or the way the townspeople treat her family?  Will they ever be accepted, despite the color of their skin?

As if things aren’t bad enough, Morning Dew receives a letter that rocks her world and her faith.  Will she ever recover from all the hurt and the changes?  Will she allow God to heal her heart and help her grow in her faith?
